This can happen in 3 different areas within Googles’s search results:
1. Get in the 3 pack – Google My Business page triggers keywords ( not all ) based on location IP.
2. Trigger the knowledge graph – right hand side. ( Usually Brand ) Hides the PPC ads. Show business info and latest posts.
3. Rank in the organic rankings for things like ‘Keyword and location’ Content pages or posts.
To enable the above to work correctly it is crucial to work in 2 different areas, On-Site (your web site) and off-site (Social Media and Citation sites)
Off Site – Get Found can organise all the offsite citations and get you in the Google eco system. You will be given a spread sheet with username and password to update the citation sites whenever you want. You own all the new sites you get listed on. Typically 100+ Citations will “go live” on the sites at various rates. Some sites will post the listings the same day, others will post them in a few weeks, whereas others take months. Every site is different. You will start to see the benefit from the citation building work in 2 to 3 months as Google slowly discovers these new listings and merges them into the local cluster in their updates. That happens on a 4 to 6 week schedule.
On Site – You will be given the code and advice for all of the onsite work. The ‘Get found’ team do not touch your site. Your web designers need to implement the changes though our expert designers can do the on-site work for an additional charge.
Your business will need to get reviews from happy customers and use social media to link to your site and generate Social Signals.
